What is groupage transport?
In the industry, groupage transport is understood as the delivery of small-sized goods (partial loads – LTL) from point A to point B. Both processed products and finished products packed in individual or collective packages are transported. Groupage cannot be divided during reloading. Each package should be able to be weighed and counted. The low weight of loads means that freight forwarders most often perform the so-called unitization, i.e. combining individual batches into one collective load in a container or on a pallet.
